Dues Due
Club dues are once again due. The club’s dues are $20 per year, and the AAW dues (AAW membership is mandatory) are $35 for a year. Family memberships are available.
Checks are preferable, since there is always a rush at the treasurer’s table- checks save the treasurer from having to write down the names on the spot.
Our major annual fundraiser for the club, for our demonstrators, etc.
Open every drawer, cupboard and box and look for those great but never used tools, jigs, motors, etc. Great turning blanks, etc., etc.
Only good stuff some other members would probably really like, NO JUNK!, i.e. non-working electrical tools, greasy/rusty whatever’s. If no one bids on it we would ask that you take it back home with you!
I was going thru my email archives, and found this message from Joe Quisenberry
Hi Thad,
Hope you had a good holiday. I have been trying to get the books
Challenge Projects
As mentioned last month, the Turn & Learn program has been replaced by a monthly challenge. Due to the Auctoin, the first project will be due in January, and will be an open candy dish (a closed one will be a later project)
Also mentioned- there will be two categories- one for prior winners, and one for future winners.
